Unit
Unit — a fixed stake size used so that results are comparable independent of bankroll.
One unit is whatever amount a bettor chooses — commonly 1–2% of bankroll. Publishing results in units lets any reader translate them to their own stake.
Why it matters: "one unit flat" — the same stake on every signal regardless of confidence — makes a record reproducible. Anyone can recount it from the log with arithmetic.
Common mistake: variable staking in a published record. It cannot be audited by a reader, and historical stake sizes can be adjusted after the fact to improve the curve.
