Privacy Policy

1. The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run the Service: an email address if you join the waitlist, and email + name if you open an account. We do not sell data and we do not show ads. We do use two audience-measurement tools — Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica — on our public pages and inside your account. Both set cookies, and Yandex Metrica additionally records a replay of your visit: pointer movement, scrolling, clicks and the page as it appeared to you. Details in section 2.

2. What we collect

  • Waitlist: your email address and the time you joined.
  • Account: email, display name, subscription plan and its expiry.
  • Preferences: language and theme are stored in your browser (localStorage) and never leave it.
  • Audience measurement: Google Analytics 4 runs on this site, including the sign-in page and your account. It records page views, referring source, approximate location from IP, and device type, and it sets cookies to recognise a returning browser. We use it to see how people arrive and whether they get as far as using the product. Inside the sign-in page and your account we deliberately trim the address we send to the page only: query strings and the part after # — which is where password-reset and email-confirmation tokens live — never reach Google. The admin area and the service diagram carry no analytics at all.
  • Session recording: Yandex Metrica runs on the same pages, including your account, with its Webvisor feature enabled. Beyond the page views and device data above, it records a replay of the visit — pointer movement, scrolling, clicks, window size, and the content of the page as rendered to you. We use it to see where people stop reading and where they abandon sign-up. It does not record what you type into password fields. Recordings and counter data are processed by Yandex on their own terms and stored on their infrastructure, which is located in Russia; if that is not acceptable to you, block mc.yandex.ru with any content blocker — no part of the Service depends on it. The admin area and the service diagram carry no analytics at all.
  • What we deliberately do not collect: payment card data (a payment provider will handle it when subscriptions open), your betting activity, precise location, advertising identifiers. We do not send your email address or account identifier to Google Analytics.

3. Where it lives

Account and waitlist data are stored in a PostgreSQL database with row-level access control: your data is readable by you and by service administrators only. Passwords are stored as hashes; we never see them. Analytics data sits with Google and with Yandex under their own terms — Yandex on infrastructure located in Russia — and session recordings sit with Yandex. You can block either counter with any content blocker without losing any part of the Service.

4. What we use it for

To sign you in, to deliver ideas and the weekly report you asked for, and to tell waitlist members when access opens. That is the whole list. No profiling, no resale, no "partners".

5. Your rights

Email us to access, correct or delete your data. Deletion of an account removes the profile and subscription records tied to it. Published ideas are never linked to subscriber identities.
